Intercom messenger integration, RSS and Calendar subscriptions
July 06, 2021
In this release we deliver 3 of the most requested features that will provide our customers with better incident communication.
1. Intercom messenger integration
With our newest integration, status page users that use Intercom as live-chat for their business can now communicate incidents and maintenance directly within their Intercom messenger.
Learn more about how to configure Intercom integration in our help article.
2. RSS subscriptions
Enable your subscribers to receive your status updates directly in their RSS readers!
This enables all sorts of integrations as RSS is so ubiquitous, users of your status page can use it to take actions upon incidents reported, in tools that don't accept other means like webhooks.
To enable RSS subscriptions simply click on Subscriptions > Sub. Settings in your status page's Admin site and check the appropriate box.
3. Calendar subscriptions (.ical)
Your customers can now subscribe to recieve incidents and maintenance updates directly in their calendar, either Apple, Google or Outlook calendars are supported thanks to the .ical format.
Your subscribers can decide to receive only maintenance events (as it makes sense to have them in your calendar and plan accordingly), or to all events, including incidents.
To enable Calendar subscriptions simply click on Subscriptions > Sub. Settings in your status page's Admin site and check the appropriate box.
